A Bed for Every Child – A Hands-On Outreach Project!

Trinity is partnering with the Topsfield Congregational Church to participate in an A Bed for Every Child project.  On Saturday, September 21st, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. we will be building beds for children in poverty who haven’t got one!  Trinity’s Vestry has approved $1,000 from our Outreach funds so that we, as a parish, can build 4 beds.  Each bed will need a 4 person team to put it together – children are welcome, though an adult or two on each team will be needed.  You can sign up for one of Trinity’s teams in the Parish Hall or you can, with a $250 donation, form your own team!  As Trinity’s teams are formed, Jo Barrett will let the Congregational Church know.  If you are forming your own team, visit the Congregational Church of Topsfield web page to sign up. For more information about A Bed for Every Child, visit the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.

Hurricane Dorian Donations

The devastation of the recent hurricane is creating hardship and suffering for so many in the Bahamas. Please note that there are donation forms in the back of the Narthex, if you'd like to make a contribution.

Food Pantry Needs!

There is a list just outside the Sanctuary of needed items for the Topsfield Cupboard Food Pantry. Please help if you can!

The Food Pantry is open in the church's Education Wing (opposite the Music Room) from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. every other Saturday.  Please call the Parish Office if there is a need to visit the Pantry during unscheduled hours.

Christmas Fair News

Thank you to all who donated to our personal care gift baskets to be sold at our fair. This month's request is for items that would go into children's baskets. Age group is 4 years to 8 years.  Items could include: new small stuffed toys, coloring books, crayons, Play-Doh, easy reader books, puzzles, and scribble pads. We are in need of volunteers who would be willing to sponsor a basket.

Please let Daphne know if you can help. Gift basket donations would also be helpful: Coffee mugs, tea cups, matching paper cups and napkins, baking utensils, etc. We are working on projects every Tuesday at 10:30 am. Please bring a bag lunch and join us -- we are looking for new ideas! Thank you, Daphne (978-887-3890)
