Youth Activities and Education at Trinity Church

Our youth program at Trinity uses the Godly Play curriculum, a Christian spiritual formation program designed for youth in the 1st through 5th grades. The program balances Bible study, prayer, and both serious and playful activities to nurture the whole person during the learning about Jesus' teachings. Our youth programs meet Sunday mornings during the academic year

Trinity believes that children are a joyful and integral part of our community. The natural energy and sounds of children are a delight in worship.

A variety of materials (coloring, sensory materials, books, etc). to help a guide children’s worship experience are located on the square table at the back of the church. You are encouraged to take what you need and bring it back to your pew.

All people, including children of every age, are invited to partake in Holy Communion.

Throughout the seasons of the church year, we offer a variety of offerings and celebrations to remind children they are worthy of love, cherished by God, and have gifts that the community needs such as…

The Blessing of the Backpacks

The Blessing of the Animals

The Lighting the Advent Wreath

The Christmas Pageant

Playground meetups

Shrove Tuesday pancake celebration

Confirmation preparation classes for youth in grades 9 and up

Service Trips and Service projects for children and youth

Communion Enrichment is several one-hour sessions that explore the sacrament of holy communion offered by the Rector usually during April Vacation (except when coinciding with Holy Week). The Communion Enrichment program is for children in grades 2-5 and includes hands-on learning modules and the baking of real communion bread.
