"I was sick and you took care of me"

Prayer Shawls

The prayer shawl ministry provides handmade shawls for those in need of spiritual, medical or emotional comfort. They also make shawls for the celebration of a birth, marriage or graduation. White shawls are made and given to babies, children and adults during the service of the Sacrament of Holy Baptism.

The shawls are knitted or crocheted by parishioners, carefully stored, and are always available for family and friends near and far. Yarn is supplied to anyone wishing to make a shawl and for those who do not knit or crochet, they can contribute by becoming a Shawl Angel and sharing in the purchase of the yarn.
