"For I was hungry and you gave me food"

Top Cupboard Food Pantry

The Top Cupboard Food Pantry, located at Trinity Church, was initially started in 2013 to provide food for seniors in the community. It is open two Saturdays a month and now provides food, toiletries, and a Market Basket gift card to about thirty families. Donations come from local residents, as well as food drives by Masconomet students, local elementary school students, and the Topsfield police.

Top Cupboard is a community effort including local residents, Trinity Episcopal Church, the Topsfield Congregational Church, St. Rose’s Catholic Church confirmation class, Our Savior Lutheran Church, The Institution for Savings, local scout and Brownie troops, and Masconomet High School.

Surplus donations are shared with Emmaus House in Haverhill, Acord Food Pantry in Hamilton, Beverly Bootstraps, and others. Parishioners are welcome to help with donations, stocking shelves, and staffing the pantry.
