Every spring parishioners donate sleepers, onesies, undershirts, washcloths, and other baby necessities to create baby care kits. On Mother’s Day the younger parishioners put the kits together, each one wrapped in a blanket and secured with a diaper pin. This annual event, which started in 2015, is popular with children and adults. It is done in conjunction with Lutheran World Relief which distributes the kits wherever they are needed.
