"For whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me"
Esperanza Academy
Our involvement with Esperanza Academy, a tuition-free middle school for girls in Lawrence, goes back to 2006 when our former rector Jeff Gill, was instrumental in starting this Episcopal based school. Over the years members of the parish have served on the board of directors, sponsored students, tutored students, and worked in the kitchen. The entire parish contributes to an annual collection of school supplies. There is always a Trinity table at Esperanza's Harvest of Hope fundraising dinner and several parish families, who have been deeply involved, have been honored at this event. Parishioners from Trinity Church currently serve on committees, sponsor and tutor Esperanza students.
